Dress Shopping: Invitation

Yesterday I made my first dress  sorry gown appointment at Bridal Collections in Spokane, WA. I decided to schedule a Diamond Appointment where I can invite 10 people to come with me at an after hours appointment which includes:

  • Sparkling Cider for everyone
  • Samples of cupcakes from a nearby vendor
  • A gift from Pounders (fingers crossed for diamonds ;D)
  • And you get a $100 gift card to the store from your deposit
The best part is that you don't have to deal with any other brides or their families in the store. Those of you who know me, know that I pretty much HATE shopping. I have nightmares about trying on clothing (things don't fit right, body is not as in shape as I want it to be, etc, etc.) It will be great to not have to see another skinnier more pretty bride-to-be trying on similar or the same dresses just next to me.  But maybe that would be more motivation to work out harder and resist that extra piece of bread!

For the guests invited to this shopping experience I decided to create an eVite.  Which was also my first attempt at creating an online invitation. Thanks for the templates paperless post!
You can check it out below: There is also a really cute envelope I designed, but can't figure out how to get a picture of it on here.

You're Invited To: Jaime's Diamond Dress Appointment

Planning: What is this?

Hi all,
I decided to add this to the wedding page in attempts to:

  • Keep track of our progress
  • Store what we've done including all the fun DIY projects to be able to refer back to later
  • Get out any thoughts, feelings, ideas, etc.
  • Maybe give others inspiration
Since this will officially be my first attempt at this thing called "blogging" bear with me while I figure it all out. Thanks for reading!
J~
